LET US REMEMBER

A memorial inspired by Mná na Mara at Dinish Island Castletownbere to those from the port who were lost at sea is nearing completion thanks to the funding and support of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, donations to Mná na Mara and additional support from Cork County Council.

A plaque which includes a sealed unit is to be placed at the memorial site.  A copy of the Remembrance Book, which is currently held at the B.I.M. Training Centre, will be placed in this sealed unit.  Anyone wishing to have their loved ones, who were lost at sea, remembered in this book, can do so by contacting any of the following:

Peggy O’Neill  086 3862118

Rosemary O’Driscoll  086 3052952

Margaret Downey-Harrington  086 2570996

Or email Alexandra Kane on alexandrakane@yahoo.com
