Driving from Cork City to Castletownbere will take you approximately 2 hours, depending on which route you intend to take, but all are well worth the drive, from once you enter the Beara Peninsula at Glengarriff, around every corner is another postcard perfect view. 


If you are coming from Kerry, once you reach Kenmare it will take you approximately 1 hour to drive, with great scenery which you will have to stop the car to admire.
